Avery Dennison’s Statement on the War in Ukraine

Avery Dennison condemns the war in Ukraine.

While the company does not have operations in Ukraine or Russia, it does have several employees in those countries. The company is focused on the safety and well-being of these team members, while also supporting the unfolding humanitarian crisis surrounding the war.

The company is taking the following actions in relation to the war in Ukraine:

• Ceasing shipment of all products for the Russian and Belarusian market.
• Ceasing to enter or renew purchasing contracts with Russian suppliers and unwinding existing contracts
• Ceasing all planned investments in Russia
• Extending credit to Ukrainian customers
• Making an initial $1 million donation to Ukraine relief
• Matching employee donations to Ukraine relief through the Avery Dennison Foundation
• Providing a stipend to employees who house Ukrainian refugees

Avery Dennison continues to monitor this situation closely and will adjust actions accordingly, as the company hopes for a swift return to peace.
