Julie Vargas is vice president and general manager of Identification Solutions for Avery Dennison Corporation. She was appointed to this position in March 2024.
In her role, Julie is responsible for worldwide leadership of and strategy for the Identification Solutions Division, focused on building partnerships and solutions at the intersection of physical and digital within the Food, Retail and Logistics industries. She oversees the core business functions for the division, including operations, marketing, finance, human resources, communications, legal, and information technology.
Julie joined Avery Dennison in 2011 and has served in multiple leadership roles, including president and general manager, North America for Identification Solutions. Prior to joining Avery Dennison, Julie led product and business development for interactive RFID experiences in Latin America and was a senior analyst at Coach, where she helped launch the buy online/pick up in-store program.
Julie earned her bachelor’s degree in languages from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
