What role has mentorship played in your career?
Mentorship has been a cornerstone of my career, shifting from a resource I relied on to a responsibility I now proudly carry.
When I arrived in Germany and joined Avery Dennison, mentors were vital in helping me decode the workplace culture and build my confidence.
Today, as a Process Coordinator, my role has naturally evolved into being a mentor myself. For me, mentorship is about creating a safe, positive environment where people feel supported enough to take risks and grow.
What's the best career decision you've ever made?
Without hesitation, the best career decision I ever made was joining Avery Dennison. When I moved to Germany four years ago, I was looking for more than a job; I was looking for a safe home and for an environment where I could grow, challenge myself and make an impact. It is a decision I look back on with pride, and one that makes me highly optimistic about my future here.
As you think about the next steps in your career, what are the most important actions you plan to take?
I believe in always looking ahead. I will continue to focus on creating a high-trust, high-energy environment where my team can thrive and smile through challenges. I will also actively seek out cross-functional collaborations and broader organizational challenges to prepare myself for the next level of management opportunities within Avery Dennison.
What do you enjoy most about the work you do?
What I enjoy most about my work is the deep sense of fulfillment that comes from earning my team’s trust. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing my colleagues bring their challenges to me, knowing they trust my judgment and value my ideas. Meeting and exceeding the team's expectations is what truly drives my daily energy.
