Why were you interested in R&D and Supply Chain, and what made you choose the Avery Dennison European Graduate Program?  

 

I was attracted to the Avery Dennison European Graduate Program because it allows me to explore diverse functions, from R&D to Supply Chain, in an international environment. The chance to work across various locations in Europe and be involved in impactful projects was a key factor in my decision. The program is designed to develop future leaders, which resonated with my long-term career aspirations.

 

How have you experienced the culture at Avery Dennison?

 

The culture at Avery Dennison is incredibly supportive and collaborative. Being part of such a dynamic, multi-national community has allowed me to grow personally and professionally.

 

What do you see as the biggest personal benefit of your work so far?

 

The biggest personal benefit has been the ability to work in an international environment, which has expanded my worldview and communication skills. Each project I have been involved in has given me the opportunity to learn from different cultures and business practices, enhancing my adaptability.

What is your greatest achievement in the company so far?

 

After finishing the program, I was offered an excellent opportunity to be in a coordinator position, with a fantastic career path forward. The position is challenging, which is important if you want to grow, showing that the perspective for the future is admirable.

 

How do you experience the rotations during the European Graduate Program?

 

The rotations have been a fantastic learning experience. Each role has been unique, and I’ve had the chance to explore different parts of the business. Moving between locations and teams has allowed me to develop a well-rounded perspective and gain a deep understanding of how the company operates.

 

How have you grown in your career at Avery Dennison?

 

Since joining the program, I’ve grown significantly, especially in terms of leadership and problem-solving skills. The various projects and rotations have pushed me out of my comfort zone, giving me the tools to make better, more strategic decisions.

What role has mentorship played in your career?

 

Access to experienced leaders who provide guidance, support, and feedback has been invaluable. They’ve helped me identify areas for growth and motivated me to improve continually. Being pushed to reach excellence in my roles opened the door for me to land this Coordinator position.

 

What advice can you offer to others?

 

Take full advantage of the opportunities that come your way, especially in a program like this. Be open to learning from different cultures, teams, and functions, as it will enrich your professional and personal life. And don’t be afraid to step outside your comfort zone—growth happens when you challenge yourself.
